WKBL (Korea Women’s Professional Basketball League) announced the results of the 2023 FA (Free Agent) compensation player nomination on the 30thㅋㅋㅋ벳. As a result, two people move to the team as compensation players.

First of all, Woori Bank chose Kim Ji-young as a compensation player for Kim Jong-un, who transferred to free agency. Kim Ji-young, born in 1998, is a 171cm guard and was nominated by KEB Hana Bank as the 3rd place in the 2nd round (9th overall) in the last 2016 WKBL New Player Selection. She has since appeared in 212 league games, averaging 18 minutes and 54 seconds, while she recorded 4.8 points, 1.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. At the 2022-2023 regular season awards ceremony, she was awarded the Best Player Award, and in the third round last season, she was awarded the MIP (Professional Progression Award).

Woori Bank was able to try a new basketball game by recruiting Kim Ji-young, who is fast and has the ability to break through, despite the fact that Kim Jong-un’s transfer left a gap inside.

Hanmyeon Hana 1 Q named Eom Seo-yi as a compensation player when Kim Ye-jin transferred to KB Stars. Eom Seo-i, born in 2001, has played a lot of power as a 176cm forward.

With the nomination of the compensation player, the 2023 WKBL FA market is over.
