Even Song Min-kyu, who fell down in Gangwon-do, left due to an injury.

An official from Jeonbuk told Xsports News on the 2nd, “Song Min-gyu was diagnosed with ligament damage in his right ankle. It will take about 3-4 weeks for rehabilitation.” After his rehabilitation and training course, it seems that he will be out for more than a month.

Song Min-gyu started as a forward striker along with Hafa Silva in the 10th round of the Hana 1 Q K League 1 2023 against Gangwon held on April 29 at Jeonju World Cup Stadium.

After the defensive situation in the 18th minute of the first half, Song Min-gyu received the ball in the process of switching offense and was tackled by opponent Kim Dae-woo in the process of advancing.

During the tackle process, his right foot, which had stepped in front of the ball for possession, was pushed and bent, and Song Min-gyu suffered quite a bit after falling. He was carried off on a stretcher, but once he got to his feet, he showed a willingness to run.

However, Song Min-gyu sat down again and eventually sent a signal saying no. He was taken out on a stretcher again and couldn’t hide his upset as he covered his face with his uniform.

Jeonbuk put Gustavo in place of Song Min-gyu, but failed to score and lost 0-1 with Yang Hyeon-jun scoring a dramatic goal in extra time in the second half.

The Jeonbuk team is suffering from a series of injuries. Attackers such as Cho Kyu-seong (calf) and Lee Dong-jun (ankle), as well as Kim Jin-soo (lumbar spine) and Oh Jae-hyeok (odontitis) are unable to join due to injuries.

In addition, Hong Jeong-ho and Kim Moon-hwan, who protested harshly over the conceding situation in Gangwon, were suspended for one and two games due to cumulative warning and direct dismissal, respectively.

Jeonbuk is having a brutal spring. It is showing the worst start of the season with 6 losses in 10 games until April, and from the first game in May, the FC Seoul expedition, it has to play the game with a gap in the air and defense.
