On the 26th, Busan formed a coaching team with head coach Park Jin-seop, head coach Yoo Gyeong-ryeol, goalkeeper coach Choi Hyeon, coach Choi Kwang-hee, and physical coach Choi Jun-hyeok.
What stands out is that coach Kyung-Ryeol Yoo, who has been working with Park for a long time, is with him. Coach Yoo started his leadership career at Cheonan City Hall in 2014 after his retirement and assisted coach Park as head coach at Gwangju FC and FC Seoul for three years from 2018. Recently, his leadership experience is rich enough to serve as the coach and acting manager of the Jeonbuk Hyundai B team.
Goalkeeper coach Choi Hyun, born in Busan, played for Busan I-Park from 2008 to 2010. Starting with Pohang Jecheol High School in 2013, he coached Yonsei University and FC Seoul.
Senior coach Yoo and goalkeeper coach Choi joined the ‘Park Jin-seop division’ at the end of last year ahead of this season. Along with existing coach Choi Kwang-hee and physical coach Choi Jun-hyeok, they will assist coach Park to add strength to the goal of promotion.
Coach Kim Chi-gon, who was active as a first-team coach, will be the coach of the Busan I-Park Futures, which was newly established this year. Coach Seong-Jin Cho, who served as a coach at Jinju High School last year after playing as a defender for Suwon Samsung, will join coach Kim.
The support staff has also changed drastically. After a national team rehabilitation trainer, Kang Hoon, who went through Ulsan, Jeonnam Dragons, Gwangju, and Seongnam FC, was recruited as medical team leader. Along with team leader Kang, physical therapist Kwang-dong Lee and trainer Shin-yu Kim are responsible for the condition of the team.
Scouts Bae Il-hwan and Lee Seung-hyun also joined. Scout Bae, who made his name as a striker at Jeju United, and Scout Lee, who played 348 matches in the K-League, were in charge of discovering young players in the Busan area.
