Takefusa Kubo (21, Real Sociedad) has been tearing up the Spanish Primera Liga and has been linked with a return to Real Madrid.
Kubo has nine goals and four assists in 33 La Liga appearances this season, tied with Alexander Solskjaer for the most offensive points on the team. The team is in fourth place and is expected to qualify for the Champions League next season.
On Oct. 24, Kubo scored the game-winner in Sociedad’s 1-0 win at home against Almeria in Round 36 with a fantastic curling finish after a dribble. His nine goals set a new single-season La Liga record for goals by an Asian player.
“Kubo’s brilliant performance has made Real question the decision they made a year ago,” Spain’s Pizjazzes reported on Friday.
Real sold Kubo to Sociedad last summer with 50% ownership메이저놀이터. They’re now regretting the move as he’s done so well against their expectations.
“The situation could change radically over the next few weeks if Real decide to launch a bid for Kubo,” the outlet said.
Real coach Carlo Ancelotti recently said, “We are considering the return of Kubo. We will discuss it.”
Kubo said earlier this month, “There hasn’t been any talks with me (with Real). I’m 100% a Sociedad player next year,” he said earlier this month, putting an end to the ongoing return speculation.
