The 2022 Gimcheon KOVO Cup youth volleyball tournament, hosted and supervised by the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Sports Promotion Corporation, and Gimcheon City, was successfully completed.

In this competition held for two days from the 10th to the 11th, 49 KOVO youth volleyball class elementary school club teams participated and showed off their honed skills.

As a result, Namyangju Dasan Elementary School won the championship in the elementary and middle grades (3rd and 4th grade mixed teams), and Daejeon Dosol Elementary School and Gwangju Eodeung Elementary School won the championship in the upper grades (5th and 6th grades), respectively.

The best player (MVP) of the tournament was won by Seo-Hoo Jeong (Dasan Elementary School, Namyangju) in middle school, Ji-Han Lim (Dosol Elementary School in Daejeon) in the senior year, and Min-Jung Song (Eodung Elementary School in Gwangju) in the female category. 스포츠토토

Meanwhile, the KOVO Cup youth volleyball tournament was first held in 2013 for the purpose of creating a youth volleyball club culture, and is held annually throughout the winter and summer.

The federation supported tournament expenses such as transportation and meals for participating teams so that young volleyball players from all over the country could fully demonstrate their skills and skills. KOVO plans to focus on nurturing youth talent in the future.
